Standards Based Virtual Field Trips with Video Conferencing three-session class is scheduled for Thursdays April 27, May 4 and May 19 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm each day at theITD Soto Street Lab 2.
This class will cove both the basic operation and implementation of Video Conferencing hardware and its curricular use in any K-12 classroom. Teachers will be able to use Video Conferencing as a tool to enhance their instruction by engaging students and positively impacting their achievement. Teachers will create and implement classroom lessons and a focus will be given to standards alignment and how they can bring virtual field trips into the classroom.
