Introduction

Hello! I am a 7th-grade Science/Health teacher at Thomas Starr King Middle School Film & Media Magnet. I've been teaching for over 31 years (since 1995), and I consider myself lucky to be in this profession.
 
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry from Long Beach State University. I also hold a teaching credential in Biological Sciences and Health Sciences with a CLAD emphasis from National University.
 
I've always been fascinated with science and the process of scientific investigation and discovery. Science is ever-changing through technological advancements, and I can't wait to see what the future holds.

My other interests include playing basketball, video games, collecting sports memorabilia, and working out. I’m an avid Lakers fan, so I try to go to at least 20 games per year. I'm also a fan of the Dodgers, the LA Kings, and the Oakland Raiders.
